Metagest® is a high strength specialist product providing betaine HCl, which, once broken down in the stomach releases hydrochloric acid. Our body’s ability to produce stomach acid decreases as we age or in times of stress, which may lead to digestive discomfort. Supplementing with betaine HCl can help support the required acidity levels in the stomach for effective digestion of proteins and carbohydrates which is required for the body to use key nutrients.
